After 16 weeks of live webcasts beamed straight from the bedrooms of young up and coming bands, this year's Red Bull Bedroom Jam has come to a close and the eight bands going through to the next stage have been announced on redbullbedroomjam.com
Sacred Betrayal, the first band to be announced have topped the Buzz Radar chart, securing themselves a place on the Bedroom Jam festival tour.
The next seven bands have all been chosen by the expert judging panel that includes; the lead singer of Fightstar, Charlie Simpson; Vice President of Live Nation, Andy Copping; and Becky Sugden from The Agency.
You and What Army, This is Divine, Never Means Maybe, No Mean City, Stand Up Guy, Heights and wildcard choice Hearts Under Fire will be joining their festival heroes on stage at Download Festival this weekend on the first step of the Bedroom Jam festival tour.
After Download the lucky eight will then be heading to Underage, T in the Park, Hevy and Sonisphere, a line up that would make any rock fans' summer!
At the end of the festival season the eight bands will then be in with a chance of landing a two week recording session at Red Bull’s brand new, state of the art studio in London with a top producer as well as a UK wide tour.
