Red Bull Bedroom Jam is providing unmissable LIVE entertainment this Bank Holiday Monday, as the 12th show of 2010 comes from Hertfordshire band Heights.
With places on the Festival Chart becoming scarcer by the week, the five-piece from Welwyn Garden City fought off strong competition from Scotland’s Hello! Hello! to top the Buzz Chart last week for the right to play LIVE this Monday, May 3 at 5pm.
Hardcore band Heights were formed in 2009 and have played show after show up and down the country and they digitally released The Land, The Ocean, The Distance [Get it here for free in return for your email address] in September last year.
We've heard it. It's good. So, make sure you're watching their Bedroom Jam on Monday!
Here's a message from the band...
“We just want to say a huge thanks to anyone and everyone who helped us out over this past week to get to the top and then stay there. It means a lot to us that you all put so much time and effort into helping us out. Naming names would only end up in leaving someone out, so we will just say this – you all know who you are and thank you.
"Getting through has opened up a lot of exciting opportunities for us this year, so thank you also to Red Bull for that. But before all that comes the Bedroom Jam. We hope you enjoy watching us have the most fun we can in a bedroom with our clothes on!"
They’ll be joined by one of our favourite bands in the UK right now. The Casino Brawl represent a burgeoning scene bursting out of the North East and they’ll be parked on the RBBJ sofa where Goldierocks and Richie T will be asking the all-important questions.
The band are currently hard at work on new material as well as tearing up the occasional one-off show, but we tripped 'em up and sat 'em down for a chat to find out exactly how things were going, and of course to force them to take the How Rock N Roll Are You test.
And as per usual, there'll be a heap (seriously) of prizes to give away. They're promising signed copies of their debut, Shades:Directions, a pile of Brawl T-shirts and - for some reason - a toothbrush (you'll have to watch the Live Show interview to find out why!)
So, tune in to Bedroom Jam from 5pm on Monday, May 3 for your weekly entertainment and you can view all the other live shows there too!
