Grom Games 2010

The Oakley Grom Games took place at Manchester's Chill Factore on Saturday, April 17 in what is now recognised as one of the best freeski and snowboard events to hit the UK.

Over 150 freestylers of all ages travelled from all over the country to attend the Grom Games, where some of the biggest names in snowsports were invited along to compete in the evening invitational event, which followed the day jam sessions.

It was non-stop action all day long, with the crowds witnessing some of the best freestyle riding ever to be seen in the UK.

In the end it was British slopestyle champion James Woods who took the ski title and Red Bull athlete Jamie Nicholls won the snowboard overall title, thereby becoming the first ever Oakley Grom Games champions.
