Sebastian Vettel is in confident mood after Friday's practice at Interlagos but the German insists in his latest blog that results on the first day count for little as preparations step up a gear for the Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday.
"Today was definitely very successful, but we need to stay down to earth. Results from Friday's practice don't tell you too much – anything can happen over the next two days. Of course, it's a good sign, but we need to bring the same performance into qualifying and the race.
"I believe that we can still improve, therefore I will prepare as well as I can to be able to give 100 percent at the race day. I can only tell you that the track is amazing and it's just pure fun to race here in Interlagos. The car feels great and that gives you a good feeling and confidence.
"As I've pointed out before, I don't want to think about what will happen in a few weeks, I just want to keep my focus on this
weekend. We will for sure take a closer look at the car to make sure it's ready to do well in the qualifying.
"Talk to you tomorrow!"
Sebastian
