PlayStation have launched four new content packs for Gran Turismo®5 this week with an impressive array of new features as part of its 2.0 update. The first pack brings a new track in the form of Spa-Francorchamps, home of the Belgian Grand Prix and a course loved for its fast, hilly nature and tricky corners including Eau Rouge. Drivers can also look forward to an impressive new indoor track with two layouts.
The star of the 'Racing Car Pack' is a prototype of the Red Bull X2011, the ultimate racing vehicle designed in conjunction with Red Bull Racing which appears slicker than ever in its new rendition.
Other packs add a whole new level of personalisation to the game with custom paint packs including in excess of 100 colours and finishes including matt, chrome and polarised colours. Fans will also be pleased to know it's not just the cars they can customise with special racing gear available including 25 new Gran Turismo design helmets and 15 race suits with designs by Alpinestars GP1 and Simpson helmets.
Packs can be bought individually or as a specially priced bundle for a limited time.
