Tired of forking out hundreds of pounds on music festivals in far-flung venues? Well, this weekend's Little London Fields event could be right up your street (literally, if you happen to live in Hackney).
Created by brothers, Alex and Laurence Daw, who are passionate about their local area, this free festival takes place this Saturday, August 7 from 11.30am until 9pm and as the name suggests, it's staged in the middle of London Fields.
It's a one-day long, independent and free arts and music festival, which will be showcasing an array of fresh talents including an eclectic, alternative mix of contemporary art, cutting edge fashion design and dynamic new music from various up and coming musicians.
And if that's not enough, the festival will be complimented by hand picked local market food stalls, delicious ales, cocktails and of course Red Bull.
So, grab your friends, picnic blankets and sunglasses and make your way to East London's best park for the finest free summer festival in London!
