Sebastian Loeb was victorious in the Wales Rally GB to cap an amazing third straight world championship-winning season.
The Citroen driver finished 19.1 seconds ahead of Petter Solberg at the final round of the season. The battle was tight between the two but Loeb pulled away from the Norwegian on the final day of the event after Solberg finished slower on all four of the stages on Sunday.
"It was a difficult battle but I took a lot of pleasure from the stages and really enjoyed this rally, which was definitely the longest battle I've had this season," Loeb said.

Jari-Matti Latvala claimed third to clinch second place in the title standings by leapfrogging fellow Finn and Ford team-mate Mikko Hirvonen on the penultimate stage to grab the final spot on the podium.
Sebastien Ogier, who had gone into the rally 11 points clear of Latvala in second place, retired after crashing on Saturday, while Dani Sordo, driving for the Citroen Junior Team, took fifth place ahead of Henning Solberg, with Matthew Wilson the leading British driver in seventh.
Kimi Raikkonen was eighth, while Mads Ostberg and Andreas Mikkelsen rounded out the top 10.
After enjoying a meal, Loeb, Raikkonen, Ken Block, Sordo and the rest of the Citroen team partied until the early hours at Cardiff's most premium club, Mocha.
Word spread that this was the place to be and soon, all the WRC teams and drivers arrived to celebrate the end of a great 2010 season together.
