The fourth episode of Red Bull Music Academy's 'London Belongs To Me' is a North London odyssey with UK hip hop star Sway.
Rapper Sway takes us on a musical journey, from the schools that shaped him and formed a subject for his lyrics, to the Haringey tower block that was his home for many years. Sway’s North London voyage journey ends up at Camden’s Underworld club, home of the legendary monthly Kung Fu Hip Hop night, where we hear how Sway borrowed a white kid’s ID because he was so desperate to get inside! It’s this kind of dedication, coupled with a pure love for beats, rhymes and hip hop culture, that makes Sway such a captivating narrator. The soundtrack to his life includes The Jackson Five, Skinnyman, Prince, Dr Dre, Ghanian Highlife and of course some choice cuts from Sway himself.
