On Saturday Red Bull Studios opened the gallery space to youth music organisation Urban Development for one of their legendary Industry Takeovers. The Industry Takeover is a free event for young people who are looking to explore a career in the music business. Revellers are invited to participate in workshops, an open mic session and have the opportunity to take part in a debate with a panel of music industry specialists.  This year Urban Development has spread their wings touching down all over the country with their bespoke workshop in support of the MOBO Unsung Tour.

Chantelle Fiddy led a workshop on blogging while SB.TV’s Liam Tootill ran a couch session about building and promoting your own brand. The panel session included RWD editor Hattie Collins, PR and Rinse FM resident Sian Anderson, Urban Nerd’s James Benenson, Ben Scarr from Island, Michael Lawrence from Coda and music publishing guru Paulette Long.
