Red Bull X-Fighters Jams Brighton 2010 Nathan Gallagher/Red Bull

Four of the world’s best Freestyle Motocross (FMX) riders stunned Brighton this weekend with a jaw-dropping display, as the Red Bull X-Fighters Jam arrived at The Old Paddling Pool for a special free event.

Chris Birch, Thomas Pages, Kris Brock and Fredrick Berggren brought Brighton to a standstill, performing stunning tricks as a warm-up to the main competitive event. The foursome gave spectators on the seafront the chance to check out the breathtaking tricks that will be on display when the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour arrives for its penultimate stop in London on August 14, 2010.

There were two shows during the day, each attracting over 4,000 spectators to the Red Bull X-Fighters seafront arena close to Brighton's former West Pier.

Red Bull X-Fighters is a high-octane showdown in which the world’s best FMX riders combine power, skill, showmanship and bravery to perform gravity defying motorcycle tricks. The World Tour has picked up a huge international following since its conception in 2001 with jumps and tricks getting harder, higher and longer every year – often reaching heights of 40 feet.
