On Saturday 2nd July 80,000 people took to the streets of Bristol to celebrate the annual Afrikan Caribbean Carnival in St. Paul's. A new addition this year was the Red Bull Music Academy Soundsystem, that reverberated far and wide from the corner of St Paul's Park.

Bristol music lovers certainly know how to have a good time, partying til dusk as some of the biggest names in good time carnival sounds, bass-heavy vibes and upfront dance music took to the stage.
The line-up featured Reggae legend David Rodigan, a four-hour set from Roller Express - otherwise known as Redlight + Toddla T - featuring guest DJ sets from Joker, Zinc and Donaeo, plus appearances from local heroes Futureboogie and Team Love.

If you missed St Paul's Carnival, or you just can't get enough of the RBMA Soundsystem, make sure you register for tickets to the Red Bull Music Academy event at Notting Hill Carnival next month. Back for it's 4th consecutive year, Major Lazer will be headlining a killer line up, don't miss out!
