The third round of the Red Bull Pro Nationals and Red Bull Elite Youth Cup delivered an absolutely superb weekend of bar-banging thrills and spills.

Yet again the series served up two whole days of top-drawer racing at the beautiful Skelder Bank motocross track, situated just outside of Whitby on the North East coast of England, with the large crowds enjoying the facilities, the entertainment and festival atmosphere.

Three-hundred and eight motocross stars of tomorrow battled it out in the four Youth classes, with riders aged between seven and 18 years old competing in 28 races – 15 on Saturday and a further 13 on Sunday.

A total of 5,500 spectators coming through the gates were treated to some truly exceptional racing over the course of the weekend. The racing in both Pro class races was truly superb edge-of-the-seat stuff, as reigning MX1 champ Brad Anderson’s winning streak finally came to an end when Martin Barr pipped him to the post in the first moto. In the second moto, normal order was restored as Anderson led from start to finish, earning himself his third overall victory from three. In the MX2 class series leader Elliott Banks-Browne carried on where he had left off by taking an emphatic pair of wins, leaving many an MX1 rider in his wake.

As well as the track action, fans were treated to a fantastic freestyle motocross show, Kye Forte’s mobile BMX tour, a Saturday night party and non-stop atmospheric tunes throughout the event.
