- About
- The Goodwood Festival of Speed is an annual motorsport festival, that brings the cream of the crop together at one place to showcase the exciting world of motorsports. Teams, athletes and VIPs from all over the world come together at the event. The highlight of the event is the hill climb, where cars from all different motorsports - from old timers over to Nascars and F1 cars - try to achieve the quickest time. Around 100,000 spectators join the event over the course of the weekend. The action on the hillclimb commences at 08:45hrs on each day of the event. Gates open at 07:00hrs, which provides a great opportunity to look around the paddocks before the action begins. Car parks are free and open at 06:30hrs. David Coulthard, Sebastian Loeb and Jonathan Rea (pictured) are just some of the drivers/riders appearing.
