It’s Nice That returns to the Red Bull Studios gallery space for the third edition of their inspirational On [...] talks for the creative community. Thursday’s talk looks at the importance of innovation and ownership inviting speakers to share their dealings with intellectual property laws, plagiarism and unlocking potential. Guests include, experimental art collective Trokia who will explain how critical thinking helps create masterpieces. Illustrator and educator Holly Wales will chat to Bobby Evans from OPEN exploring the ‘Ownership of The Visual’. Iconic illustrator/graphic designer George Hardie will talk candidly about borrowing in the ’70s (and working with Hipgnosis), stealing, innovation, re-invention, observation, homage, pastiche, rules, games and collaboration throughout the decades.
