Red Bull Studios are proud to announce they’re teaming up with Leftfield to curate a night of electronic splendour in aid War Child at the O2 Academy in Brixton.

Leftfield returned to the road in 2011 after ten years of not playing out. Their seismic contribution to dance music over the last two decades has produced two critically acclaimed albums Leftism and Rhythm and Stealth. These albums and future project went on to influence a generation of producers, musicians and fans who’ve watched Neil Barnes and Paul Daley change the aural landscape merging house music with dub and reggae.

The 2011 action packed live show left audiences in awe with a crew of live performers, bass bins and amazing visuals. With Neil leading the tour the band touched down everywhere from Japan to Bang Face Weekender. So what better way to kick off 2012 than with show at the O2 where they will be joined on stage by a host of guests including Jess Mills who features on the forthcoming Original track. This is what Neil had to say about the event: “War Child brings people together for an undeniably good cause, helping kids in circumstances no one should have to endure. We’ve enjoyed working with some great collaborators over the years, so this is a great opportunity to play alongside a line-up of artists and DJs we love.”
