This Canadian has the ability to move even the most stush of ravers with his DJ sets. RBMA alumni and international bad man on the buttons Ghislain’s tunes embody the spirit of dancehall, soca and world wide tropical rhythms – embracing all that is big, bad and heavy and meshing them with futuristic electro funk. 

It is Poirier’s thirst for new sounds that led him to work on global collaborations with the Crookers, dancehall veteran Burro Banton, emerging dancehall MC Busy Signal, London’s favourite Warrior Queen and Trinidadian soca master Mr Slaughter. You won’t see Poirier slipping without his MC's Face-T and Zulu who represent on tracks and at live gigs. His latest release Running High out on Ninja Tune has been well received by the music community. 

Poirier came down to the London Studios with MC Nero to record a wee mix as part of his Montreal to London project.
