About Jamie
Jamie Roberts is one of the brightest talents in world rugby and plies his club trade with Cardiff Blues as a centre. Since making his international debut for Wales in 2008 against Scotland in the Six Nations Championship, Jamie has established major credentials at the top level and following that, two Welsh Grand Slams in four years. A regular in the 2009 series, he almost helped Wales to another Six Nations win only to be pipped by Ireland in the final head-to-head match. With 12 international caps under his belt, his next aim was selection for the Lions. In summer 2009 he got his chance, and he linked up with the squad for a battling tour of South Africa during which, he formed a superb partnership with Ireland’s Brian O’Driscoll, leading to Jamie being named as the Lions’ Player of the Series.
