Philadephia Phillies shortstop James Calvin Rollins is one of the game’s true all-rounders.
A rookie in 2001, he earned distinction by being the first MLB, and first Phillies player to make all-star in each of his first two seasons. He also made the all-star list in 2005.
In 2007 he was the recipient of the National League’s Most Valuable Player award, and took that form into the Phillies’ 2008 World Series winning year.
