Red Bull Air Race World Series
The 2008 series has come to its conclusion with Austria Hannes Arch triumphing over his rival pilots. The 2009 series is still under wraps but stay tuned early next year for the new calendar.

Four rookies for 2009
Four new pilots from four countries and four continents will join the Red Bull Air Race World Series in 2009: At age 24, Pete McLeod (CAN) will be the youngest ever Air Race pilot, while Yoshihide Muroya (JPN), Matt Hall (AUS) and Matthias Dolderer (GER) are also younger than reigning World Champion Hannes Arch (AUT).
